My son loves how basketball, football, and track push him to grow. He thrives on the competition, the energy, and being part of something bigger. Sports give him confidence and focus, and he gives 110% every time he steps on the field or track. It’s where he truly comes alive.
First and foremost, God inspires my son and keeps him grounded. His dad and I support and challenge him, and his younger siblings look up to him—so he pushes himself to lead by example. He also admires Kobe Bryant’s mindset and CeeDee Lamb’s drive. They all keep him motivated and focused.
One of his proudest moments was playing in the Dream All-American Bowl in Dallas, TX ( 5th grade). Being chosen was scary, but a huge honor. Even when he came out of his shoe mid-play, he kept going strong! That game showed him how far he’s come and that he truly belongs on that level.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
