What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Bryson loves the comradery. He’s a selfless team player who enjoys winning as a team and competing to be the best. He’s a defensive threat naturally, but also proud of the extra time he dedicated at the close of the high school season developing his offensive and defensive dominance on the court. The focus on his vision has paid off in a substantial way!

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

My mother has been fully supportive since I was able to hold a basketball at the age of 6. She has unwavering confidence in me. She also instills in me the importance of academics. I am also a 4.0 student, which is an even larger accomplishment to mom. My father is former Dallas Mavericks NBA All-Star Josh Howard. He has been a supportive father figure and role model, for which I am grateful. I‘m blessed to have a showing of support from family & friends to keep me focused on achieving goals.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

After a rocky start in session one, Bryson was asked to step into a leadership role. He rose to the occasion, ensuring his team qualified for EYBL Peach Jam at the highest level. Sports Journalists note, Bryson has made history as the biggest stock riser to ever accomplish what he has in a single EYBL session. Bryson’s journey might inspire other athletes to keep going. His showcasing at PANGOS All-American earned him the MVP award, and an invite to the NBPA Top 100 Camp. I couldn’t be prouder.
