Buffalo loves the feeling of dominating the teams opponents and physically imposing the O-lines will on the defense. They take pride in their ability to open up running lanes and protect the quarterback, knowing that success in these areas is crucial for the team's overall performance. Buffalo works well with his O-line teammates and knows their importance to succeed in a game even though their positions aren’t as recognized as skilled players.
Buffalo looks up to his eldest brother, he’s a Navy Seal Frogman and pushes for Buffalo to be the best he can be. Buffalo strives to be successful playing his position and follows the three D’s his brother preaches to him. Dedication, Discipline and Desire. Buffs first tackle coach made a lifelong impact teaching him forward progress, courage , and his never give up attitude. Coach Abercrombie always demanded eye contact, team bonding, and lessons to the why to be successful in a game situatio.
The first D1 championship was grueling and it came down to OT , first and goal. Buffalo came off the field injured and Coach Abercrombie and his wife , our team mom, spoke to Buffalo on the side line and said one more play, you can do this, we need you! Buffalo lined up and actually tossed our quarterback over the defense to score for the win! The tears streaming down his face and him giving his last bit of energy for the last winning play is unforgettable.
