Caerwyn loves the challenge and the competition. He wants to play the best and beat the best so that he can improve his own game. He might start off slow, but he always rises to the strongest guy on the team or his competitor.
The person who inspires Caerwyn the most on and off the ice would have to be his cousin Daniel. He always thinks and plays like Daniel and try’s his best to make the same plays that he does backdoor passes, top corner goals etc. he loved when Daniel came to his OMHA playoff game last year but Caerwyn was sadly injured
His first year trying out for u13AAA hockey ….he left it all out on the ice and made it to the first exhibition game. After the game, he came leaping out of the change room like a gazelle. He ran up to us and said Coach wants to talk to you. Coach told us that he wanted to offer one of the last forward spots to Caerwyn. We asked him why, he told us that, even though he wasn’t the fastest or had the best hands he had the strongest work ethic out there and he wanted to work with that.
