Cal’s biggest inspiration is his late Lulu, who had a heart of gold, loved big, served others, and believed he was destined for something special. He plays every game in her honor. On the field, his hero is Jaxon Dart—When told he would play QB this year, he said, “Only if I can be #2 like Dart.” Cal looks up to Dart for his talent, leadership, and how he carries himself. Cal sets big goals and leads with grit, heart, and humility—just like Lulu.
Cal makes me proud every time he steps on the field. He set big goals this season—and crushed them. He hit a 225-ft homer in his final 8UAA tournament, won MVP, made the All-Stars football team, and at Ole Miss baseball camp, earned Play of the Day for a diving catch and won the Home Run Derby. He’s full of energy, heart, and big hugs, with a golden spirit like his late Lulu. Cal loves Jesus and his people, plays with purpose and confidence, and works hard to chase big dreams.
