Callie is more than an athlete. She is also an outstanding student with diverse interests and talents.

Callie loves the community aspect of bowling. The social interaction and building of friendships has helped Callie with her anxiety and mental well-being. She likes the camaraderie and since of belonging to a team as well as competing individually.
Callie was encouraged to join the HS Varsity bowling team in 7th grade by coach Mark. As the youngest team member with no experience, Mark provided guidance and instruction supporting her growth which helped develop her bowling skills and confidence. Following in her brother Aiden's footsteps, she quickly became a starter and eventually the Captain of her team. Callie credits her coach for her athletic journey, love for the sport and valuable life skills like leadership and perseverance.
During an intense state title tournament, Callie demonstrated sportsmanship by showing the opposing team respect and encouragement during the match. When the other team won by a mere few pins, Callie joined in their celebration, acknowledging her teams achievement of placing 2nd against such strong competitor's. In the end, photos where taken together, socials were exchanged and lifelong friendships were made. Callie always looks forward to competing with this team ever year at State.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
