My son, Cameron, has loved baseball since he could walk. He’s the Athlete of the Year because he loves his teammates more than himself.

Cameron loves spending time with his team, both on and off the field. He enjoys learning from his coaches that have played the sports that he loves in their past. He enjoys the camaraderie that his team has created over the last few years.
Cade Cole, Cade is Cameron’s best friend’s 18 year old brother who graduated high school in May. Cade excelled in both school and sports with a main focus on baseball. Cade threw a perfect game his senior season and is 1/3 local athletes to have over 100 at bats and less than 10 strikeouts in the last 10 years. Cade encourages Cameron to do the same and treats him as a brother both on and off the diamond. Cameron hopes to follow in Cade’s footsteps in academia and baseball as he grows.
We are proud of all of Cameron’s accomplishments in his life. He is an amazing student, athlete, friend, brother and son. The proudest moments I have had watching Cameron play sports is when he notices that a teammate is struggling whether that be a rough inning pitching or at bat and he always stop to give them encouragement. I have seen him stop to pick up an opposing player when they feel down. I am most proud of the human that he is without even realizing it.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
