What he loves most about playing sports is how it makes him feel strong, focused, and happy—especially during tough times. After losing his dad, sports became more than just a game; it became a way to feel connected, to stay positive, and to keep going. He loves the challenge of improving, the fun of being part of a team, and the feeling of making his dad proud every time he plays. Sports help him express himself, stay confident, and feel like he’s never alone—even when he misses him the most
Cameron’s most inspired by his dad, who always believed in him and taught him to never give up—on or off the field. Even though he’s no longer here, he carry’s his words, his love for the game, and his strength with him every time he plays. He’s also inspired by players from the LA Rams like Aaron Donald and from the Dodgers Freddy Freeman. Watching those athletes reminds him that with dedication, heart, and courage, they can accomplish anything.
One moment that makes me the proudest was seeing him step up during a big game when the pressure was on. He stayed focused, gave it his all, and showed incredible teamwork and sportsmanship. Whether it’s a win or a loss Cameron will always be proud of himself & the team he plays for. He’s truly incredible.
