He competes in wheelchair basketball, softball, and track and field, with basketball being his favorite. His talent continues to grow through hard work and passion, he truly lives and breathes the sport. Cameron’s ultimate goal is to play at the collegiate level and represent Team USA as a Paralympic wheelchair basketball player.
Cameron is inspired by Jake Williams. Jake Williams is currently the men’s wheelchair basketball coach at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. He is also a 3 time gold Paralympian for Team USA men’s wheelchair basketball team. Cameron is inspired by Jake due to his dedication, hard work, and presence in the wheelchair basketball sport. Jake motivates and supports Cameron. He pushes him to reach further and to believe in himself.
Cameron’s performance at the 2024 NWBA Nationals was inspiring. Named Prep Division Male MVP, he stood out as a leader on the nation’s top-ranked team. Despite falling short of the championship, his determination, effort, and ability to push through adversity were unmatched. His resilience and character on and off the court are what truly set him apart. Watching him grow into the athlete he is today has been nothing short of incredible.
