Competition with other athletes, learning new things, meeting new people, celebrating successes and accomplishments of eachother. Pushing myself to the limits physically, mentally and emotionally. Then, setting new goals to surpass last.
I'm most inspired by athlete's who push themselves as far as they can even when they feel like they can't give 100%.
A moment in Carlee's athletic journey that made me proud is when she was able to land all of her moves on her beam, score over a 9, and win 1st place in her gymnastics competition. Also, as a wrestler she pushed through many losses her first year. But she worked hard and in her second year she began winning all of her meets and tournaments even against boys!
