Carmella loves the game of Basketball. She has a drive and passion for pushing herself to the next level. She always played a level up on most of her teams. She made the varsity Basketball team and JV Lacrosse team Freshman year. She loves when she works on a move or long range shot in practice and is able to execute it flawlessly in the games. Her athleticism, passion, and love of the game is like no other.
Her family. We do anything we can to be her biggest fan and support system she has. Off the court she watches a lot of WNBA and NCAA basketball and reads about the player’s journey to get there. Carmella has aspirations to play in college and takes all the advice she can get from her coaches to get her there.
Carmella played in the Chicago Nike Tournament of Champions games. She played fantastic all weekend. Everyone was talking “watch number 11, she’s on fire, or oh wow did you see what number just 11 did.” This was a proud moment for me knowing they were talking about my kid. But the most gratifying moment for both her and I was when USJN all-star player list was announced and her name was on it. We could not be more proud.
