What he loves most about baseball is being good at every position they put him in. Whether it’s shortstop, second base, third, outfield, pitching, or batting he gives it his all and shines in every role. He was the starting pitcher and lead-off batter in many games this season, and his team won back-to-back championships. He made the All-Star team and helped them place third in the state, getting six outs while playing shortstop in that game. He loves being trusted by his coaches.
His biggest inspiration is his dad. He grew up playing on the same field our son plays on now, which makes it really special for both of them. His dad throws with him every day, practices with him all the time, and knows exactly how to encourage him. Whether it’s helping him with his swing or just building his confidence, he always shows up with patience, support, and love. He’s the perfect example of what a dad should be.
One of my proudest moments was watching him play in the All-Star state semifinals. He was playing shortstop and got six outs in that game alone. It wasn’t just about the plays he was calm under pressure, focused, and completely locked in. On such a big stage, he showed heart, leadership, and skill beyond his years. Seeing him rise to that moment made me realize he’s not just talented, he’s built for this.
