Thank you for generously supporting Carter in this year’s competition. Your support helps empower the V Foundation for Cancer Research and the Why Not You Foundation in their respective missions to save lives and empower today's youth to become tomorrow's leaders.
Carter loves the friendships, teamwork, and lessons that come from playing sports. Whether it’s football or baseball, he enjoys competing, learning, and constantly improving. His favorite part is working hard in practice and then seeing that effort pay off in games while helping his teammates succeed. Sports have taught him discipline, leadership, and how to encourage others, and he loves being part of something bigger than himself.
Carter is inspired by his coaches and teammates who push him to work harder every day, both on and off the field. He looks up to players who lead by example, show respect, and never give up, no matter the score. Their dedication reminds him that success comes from effort, learning, and teamwork. Carter is also inspired by his family, who support him at every game and encourage him to always play with heart, humility, and good sportsmanship.
One of Carter’s proudest moments was earning MVP at the All-American Crème de la Crème game, showing how his hard work and dedication paid off. Another huge milestone was making the Ocean Springs Hounds travel baseball team as the only new player selected at tryouts. But what makes us proudest is his character—when a teammate is having a tough time finishing sprints or drills, Carter runs alongside them, encouraging and helping them finish strong, proving he’s a true leader and teammate.
