What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

He loves track because he is able to thrive off competition, not with others, but with himself. He loves the freedom of the sport. He loves chasing new Personal Records and turning past failures into motivation. Track gives his life structure- the discipline, the grind, and the pursuit of being better than he was yesterday. It’s not just a sport to him, it’s a lifestyle. He lives it everyday by the way he trains, recovers, and fuels his body. Track is where his speed becomes his signature.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Trayvon Bromell inspires me both on and off the track. His relentless drive, comeback mindset, and faith in God reflect exactly how I want to live. He competes with heart, overcomes adversity, and never makes excuses. Off the track, his character, humility, and trust in God’s plan show me what it means to stay grounded while chasing greatness. He’s proof that purpose and speed can go hand in hand.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Along with his humbleness and great sportsmanship, I am always proud when I see his hard work pay off. All the time and dedication he pours into being better on and off the Track as a person and athlete speaks for itself with consistently breaking records. This past year he was a 3x Sectional and Conference Champion and Podiumed at State in the 200m and 400m. Running a PR in the 200m at State was icing on the cake this year! Ending this season with 100m- 11.09, 200m- 21.81, and 400m- 49.04!!
