Join the CompetitionAnyone at anytime can be a hero!! You never know what will happen in the game at any moment. Every single play is exciting and the game isn't only determined by one or 2 all stars. It takes a whole team working together and supporting each other individually at bat and on the mound. Carter loves the feeling of support from his team when he is up at the plate.
Carter loves to imagine himself being Pete Alonzo as he is a first baseman himself. He is inspired by Francisco Lindor in being a switch hitter and practices it all the time. He is most inspired by his coaches, Tony, is an amazing mentor, and teaches the team to be good young men on and off the field. AJ is like the older brother he never had and also instills these values in all the boys.
Carter had been very discouraged throughout Fall 2024 by being inconsistent with his pitching. He would walk one or 2 players and completely shut down, affecting his performance. In the Fall 2024 Championship Game, he was called upon to take the mound in a final effort to win the game with bases loaded. He was able to shut down the inning and continue to throw 7 strikeouts , thus his team WINNING the championship. It was a proud moment for me to see him persevere and not give up.
