What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Cartez loves the competitiveness about basketball through the teams and tournaments he loves competing at a high level and he loves how it helps him on his mental status where picking up a basketball and shooting it is all he needs to better his happiness.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Cartez is inspired by the late great Kobe Bryant as Kobe has a great mindset towards hard work and dedication and development he has grew up watching Kobe and always wanted to be a product of what Kobe was in the Nba towards his accomplishments.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

One moment in Cartez journey that makes me the proudest is when he got invited to his first National Basketball Camp hosted by Nba player Chris Paul it makes me the proudest because it shows that people are looking at him as a player and that he is getting noticed and thats what we really want from him as a 14 year old.
