I love playing with my friends, competing, getting better every game, being a good teammate, and learning how to listen and be coachable! I thrive in competition and always can get better. I love my coaches and how they pour into me each day. I am thankful for them.
My Grandpa Manuel inspires me the most because he is the best. He taught me everything about baseball when I was 3 years old and still teaches me. He is in nine Hall of Fames for being a great coach. My Mama and Daddy also inspire me because they work so hard to provide for me and my sister and get us what we need. They love us a lot.
I have many proud moments. My most recent is being selected to represent Texas in the USSSA All-State National Tournament in Indianapolis. My first year in tackle football (last season), I learned quickly and was able to help my team and play both sides on the ball in most games. Another time is when I hit a grandslam and helped my team win a game to advance in bracket play. Everyone cheered for me and it made me feel proud. I had been working hard on my hitting and it showed!
