What I love most about playing softball is the experiences it’s given me, being able to travel the world while competing at such a high level, and making friendships along the way is something I will never forget. Another thing I love about softball is the lessons it’s taught me over the years, it’s taught me how to work through difficult times, it’s taught me resilience and it’s taught me how to be a leader. I am so thankful for this sport being part of my life.
My parents inspire me the most, watching how hard they work and how they never let anything stop them has motivated me to have that same mindset in softball. Their determination and support has pushed me to work harder and keep following my dreams.
As her father I am so proud every time I watch her take the field. This sport has helped shape my daughter into the resilient young woman she has become. Watching caydence compete on an international stage against the top talent in the sport has to be my proudest moment so far but she’s just getting started !
