She loves track because it makes her feel strong and fast and confident, she even qualified for the Junior Olympics in the 1500m and 4x100 relay with Miami Gardens PAL. She loves competing with Florida Triple Threat All Stars, because she able to shine in cheer whether flying in a stunt or tumbling across the floor, she gives her all. At Young Contemporary Dance Theater, dance lets her express herself and perform with joy. Each sport helps her grow, build confidence, and do what she loves.
She is inspired by her coach and teammates, who demonstrate hard work, teamwork, and dedication every day. She also looks up to other athletes her age who train and compete just like her, seeing their passion motivates her to keep improving and to be with the best of the best. Off the field, her family inspires her with their love and support, encouraging her to stay strong and believe in herself no matter what.
One moment that makes us proudest is when she qualified for the Junior Olympics in two events. The 1500m and 4x100 relay. It was her first time competing in the 1500, and she placed 3rd overall in the 8 and under division at the Primary Meet in Jacksonville. Seeing her cross that finish line with a big smile, after all the hard work and training, truly captures her dedication, perseverance, and love for the sport. It’s a milestone that shows just how much she can achieve.
