Alana Johnson, who plays softball for Texas Tech, inspires her because of her work ethic on and off the field. She gave many little girls hope in Pike County Mississippi, by competing in the WCWS. Also, my dad, Coach Blount, who is a high school football coach, because he pushes me to work harder and put in countless hours in the yard from tball to now.
One moment that makes me the proudest is the beginning of her 9u season, hitting her first over the field home run. Also, playing up with the older girls in 12u and competing with her sister’s team, while still 10u eligible, with a positive attitude and go getter mentality.
