My child is the youth athlete of the year because he is hardworking, he is for the team and he is loyal. Everyday wake up 5am; no complaint!

My son is an only child and without his father so what he loves most is the brotherhood. He loves having his brothers depend on him on the field and he hates to disappoint them so he works extremely hard to ensure he doesn’t.
My son’s coach inspires him most as his father figure on and off the field. If my son has a bad day or has a good day, the first person he looks for other than myself is his coach. His coach believes in him which inspires him deeply.
What makes me proudest is my son’s dedication and drive. I remember when he first maxed his weight of 315Ibs when squatting. He had such a focused face, the gym was so loud with celebration from his team to motivate, and as soon as he finished he looked to his coach and team and embraced them with such appreciation when he did it.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
