At the Nationals softball tournament, Charlie was playing shortstop against a strong-hitting team. She made a diving catch on a hard-hit line drive up the middle — a game-changing play. After the inning, the base umpire approached her and awarded her a gold glove pin in recognition. That moment captured her skill, grit, and ability to shine under pressure
