Thank you for generously supporting Chase in this year’s competition. Your support helps empower the V Foundation for Cancer Research and the Why Not You Foundation in their respective missions to save lives and empower today's youth to become tomorrow's leaders.
Chase loves friendly competition and the bond that comes with being part of a team. Whether it’s pushing himself to run faster in cross country, working together to win on the football field or basketball court, or striving for personal bests in track and golf, he thrives in environments where effort and collaboration matter. He values the friendships, shared wins, and the lessons each sport teaches him about perseverance, hard work, and achieving goals.
Chase is inspired by Jesus, who teaches him to lead with kindness and humility. His dad motivates him through his strong work ethic and guidance, while his mom inspires him with her support and encouragement. Chase is also inspired by the memory of his grandpa, who passed away, but left behind a legacy of strength, love, and perseverance. Each of them helps shape who he is, both as an athlete and as a person.
One of my proudest moments as a parent was watching Chase finish in his middle school PAC championship in track. He didn’t win, but he gave it everything he had and stayed positive the entire time. His determination, attitude, and sportsmanship showed his true character. It wasn’t about winning, it was about his heart, effort, and the way he finished strong. In that moment, he showed what it really means to be a role model.
