What I love the most about playing sports is the fact that I get the opportunity to be on teams with great teammates who share the same interests as myself, which feels like a community since we all share the same passion. My coaches are great leaders who mentor, nurture and equip us with discipline, and skill set's and I am very grateful for that. I am determined to keep striving to be better at my sport.
My parents inspire me on and off the field. They have always stressed the importance of being honest, polite, calm and to always be a team player and also to never forget to have fun. enjoy doing. My mom enjoys being a team mom who ensures that the team members have all that’s needed on a regular basis. I also have a twin brother and my parents has been able to balance their schedules to accommodate ours separately and I am very thankful for that.
The moment in his journey that makes me the proudest is the time he was under the weather on the day of the championship game. I told him it’s okay to not play, but he insisted and stated that the team needs him and he can make a very strong impact in the game. His coach allowed him to play for the last two minutes of the game due to his determination to help his team win their first championship. He ended up scoring the game winner for his team.
