Receive Text UpdatesCheyenne loves the confidence wrestling has brought her. She trains as a team, but it is her on the mat. Cheyenne wants to grow girls/women’s wrestling, showing others how it can be a great affect on their lives. Weight lifting, training, diet, sleep, everything matters and needs to be monitored with discipline. When on the mat, everything else goes away when facing your opponent.
Cheyenne is inspired by her many coaches, both with Oxford high school and with the coaches for Team Michigan. Without them she would not be where she is now.
The proudest moment was hearing the story of how Cheyenne overcame many second place finishes to finally win her first State title. The summer before, Cheyenne lost a heart breaker in the finals on the national stage at Fargo. After, she suffered setbacks at other national events. But when she started the high school season, there was never a doubt how the year would end. She did the work and made it happen with a level of confidence I don’t believe many people would believe.
