When Chloe started American Kenpo at 5 years old, she loved how strong and confident it made her feel. We quickly realized Karate was great for her mind, body and spirit! In addition to self defense, she has learned focus, determination, self-control, respect and mindfullness. She fully embodies the spirit of Karate by practicing at the dojo 5 days a week and using her learnings in every day life! Now at 8 years old she is on her way to green belt and has won at numerous karate tournaments!
Chloe is inspired by Sensei Gabe at her dojo. Since her first karate class he has taught her to focus, work hard, be the best she can be and to love karate! He has helped her master new forms and techniques, prepare for belt tests, do her very best at tournaments and get through challenges. She has learned confidence, pride, and the true meaning of karate through his teachings! She loves to watch him teach and do karate and wants to be a black belt and a Sensei just like him!
The most proud moment I have for Chloe was when she won 1st place in Kata Forms at a Tournament this year! She worked so hard, practicing every day, through many challenges, to get up in front of the judges and do her best. She blew everyone away with her focus, strength and passion that shined so bright on that stage! It wasn't just her technique that made her stand out, but her true love of karate that went into every move. Karate kept her motivated and determined to be the best she can be!
