Christian loves the competition and comrade. He enjoys encouraging his team mates and at times his opponents. He is always striving to become better. He puts in the extra work/time needed without prompting! His heart is bigger than he is and wants to encourage all kids to fall in love with sports just as he has! He has said sports not only keep him in shape but keeps him motivated and disciplined. He loves the excitement of learning new and growing his skill set!
First and foremost Christian play’s ultimately for an audience of one! God! He knows and acknowledges his talents are God given! His family is his 2nd inspiration because they’ve always told him he can be and do anything he wants, he just has to put his mind to it, keep practicing and being dedicated! He has so many pro athletes he looks up to as well.
I will say my proudest moment didn’t come in a game. My proudest moment was one time at a baseball practice, as he was catching, he noticed one of his teammates struggling with hitting. He stopped and took a moment to show and teach. He showed (not just told) his team mate where to correctly stand and hold his batt. When his team mate listened, he got a great hit! To see the excitement on his team mates face, that is what made me proud. The thing Christian chose to do, in quiet, not out loud!
