What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What I love about playing my sport is going out there and competing against other teams, having fun with friends, and building relationships with players and coaches both on and off the field. I also enjoy being a good leader to my teammates and the youth who watch me play. Most importantly, I love having fun with what I am doing.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Who inspires me on & off the field? I would definitely say my family. They come to every game they can to watch me play, and that inspires me to keep going, keep playing, and continue striving to get better. My mom is always there, being my number one supporter and helping me keep my head up. My dad is always there too, coaching me, mentoring me, and helping me become a good young man and player on and off the field, while also reminding me to keep my head held high no matter if we win or loose.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

If I had to pick just one moment I would have to say when Christian was asked to move up from JV baseball to varsity as a freshman. Their team made it to the state championship! He scored one of the two points during one of their games. Watching his face light up made my heart so proud. They didn’t win the state championship but he was apart of making school history! He is now playing on an American Legion team as the only freshman. They are currently preparing for the Legion State Championship!
