Christian loves soccer because it challenges him to grow, physically, mentally, and emotionally. The discipline of training, the strategy behind each play, and the commitment to his team have taught him valuable life lessons. Soccer gives him a sense of purpose, focus, and pride in working toward something bigger than himself.
Christian is inspired by Lionel Messi because of his humility, dedication, and drive to improve. Watching Messi overcome challenges with quiet determination has taught him that greatness isn’t just about talent, it’s about hard work, resilience, teamwork, and staying true to yourself. Messi’s passion for the game fuels my son’s own love for soccer and motivates him to keep pushing forward, no matter the obstacles.
One of the proudest moments in Christian's athletic journey was when he was selected for the ODP Eastern team. It was the result of years of hard work, early and late mornings, and countless hours of training. Seeing his dedication recognized at such a high level made all the sacrifices worth it. It showed that perseverance and passion truly pay off.
