You decide who will be named Youth Athlete of the Year, featured in a 3BRAND ad in Sports Illustrated, and take home $25,000
My 9-year-old son loves playing sports because it brings him joy, confidence, and a sense of teamwork. Whether he’s running on the field or cheering on his teammates, he’s fully engaged and having fun. He thrives on the excitement of the game, the friendships he builds, and the pride that comes from learning and improving. Sports have helped him grow not just physically, but emotionally, teaching him resilience, sportsmanship, and the value of hard work. For him, it’s more than just a game
My son is most inspired by his grandma, who encourages him to always do his best, stay positive, and never give up—on or off the field. Her support means the world to him, and he looks up to her strength, kindness, and determination. Along with his grandma, he’s also inspired by the love and encouragement he gets from our family and friends, who cheer him on in everything he does. Their constant support motivates him to work hard, be a good team player.
One moment that stands out in my son’s sports journey was when his team was losing and things weren’t going his way,but he never gave up. He kept pushing, stayed positive, and encouraged his teammates until the very end. Even when the outcome wasn’t in his favor, he held his head high and believed in himself. That moment showed me just how much heart and determination he has, and it made me incredibly proud.
