Christopher loves the discipline, competition, and teamwork each sport brings. Whether it’s the endurance of cross country, the strategy of soccer, or the precision of football, he thrives on pushing himself and supporting his teammates. Most of all, he values the friendships and growth that come from working hard toward a common goal.
He’s inspired by other mentors who lead by example—those who demand excellence, show integrity, and invest in his success when he was a younger player. Their commitment to ensuring his growth, both on and off the field, motivates him to work harder. Now as a mentor himself he leads by example, and help others improve, just as others helped him.
One moment that makes me the proudest is watching over the years the overall improvement in his sports. To get to the level of mentor means you have started to master a sport. To have those under you look up to you for guidance and leadership, that is a proud moment. A moment of growth that you have put blood, sweat, and tears into.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
