Football is more than a game to this high school senior—it’s about brotherhood, competition, and growth. He loves the bond with teammates built through shared challenges and victories. The sport’s competitive edge drives him to give his all and rise to every challenge. Football pushes him to train hard, perfect his skills, and reach peak athleticism. It’s where friendships grow, lessons are learned, and he discovers the best version of himself.
CK’s biggest inspiration is his dad, who was first coach and is his lifelong role model. His father shows what hard work, endurance, passion, and high standards look like, both on and off the field. He leads by example, living out the lessons he teaches while being honest about his flaws and personal growth. Seeing his dad’s dedication and authenticity motivates CK to work harder, stay humble, and strive to be his best in football and in life.
I’m most proud of my son for how he rose to the challenge of switching high schools. He faced the change with courage, quickly building bonds with new teammates and earning their trust through his hard work and character. Adjusting wasn’t easy, but he embraced the opportunity to grow, lead, and adapt. Watching him navigate this transition with maturity and resilience has been one of my proudest moments as a parent.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
