The camaraderie. Celebrating wins & learning from losses. The sweat, the tears, the aches & pains. The feeling of success, both individually and as a team. Learning and growing every practice and every game. Knowing she shows true sportsmanship no matter what. Being a supportive & encouraging teammate. And putting in the time to become the player she is today and will be in the future.
First and foremost, her older sister. Who has never given up or given in athletically or personally. And second, collegiate players. Who have never given up on their dreams or goals and continue to make them happen
Good game or bad, the way she carries herself is second to none. I could say her first HR, all the runners she's caught stealing or tagged at home, or all her RBIs. But none of that compares to the way she handled a severe injury (ball meets face) that abruptly ended her 2025 HS season just days before playoffs. From being a huge part of the team's success, to only being able to watch from the dugout, she never faltered in being the definition of teammate. And that, in her, is where my pride is!
