Receive Text UpdatesHe has always had a passion for sports. He loves football, basketball, hockey, & much more. But baseball has a special place in his heart. He was in jujitsu & one day his step-dad bought him a glove and bat. He wanted to give baseball a shot but it wasn't baseball season. His step-dad died a few months after and never got to see him play. Ever since it has been a safe place for him. A place to let the struggles of life disappear and for a moment he feels nothing but pure bliss.
Himself. He wants to be the absolute best version of himself in everything he does. He feels he has a calling for baseball and is determined to see that become a reality. Baseball brings him nothing but pure happiness and he feels that happiness is worth putting in the work for.
He tried out for what he thought was his school's track & field team but in reality he was trying out for their cross country team. In his defense the school did advertise & refer to the team as their track team. He didn't realize the dedication it takes to push himself that far, yet he did it. I will never forget the moment I saw him pushing his second round around the track. Although it wasn't his favorite, he did it & they even placed third in the parish. I was so very proud.
