What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Collin lives and loves competition. His journey in football has been hard therefore trying to get to his personal point of greatness has been the motivation, no matter how many people put him down. His lacrosse journey is where he is finding greatest success. Sports are his motivator for wanting to be a leader and a healer. He will be a senior this year and would like to pursue athletic training because he wants to give back to athletes that need mental and physical strength to restore to 100%

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Collin is greatly inspired by 2 of his lacrosse coaches. Coach Rowe and Coach Brady have come to watch his football games, they have come to his club lacrosse games and they check in. Every week, on or off field. They check in. No matter if Collin is winning or losing those 2 men check in. They have families and full time jobs, and they support the boys always. They help with community involvement and teach the boys to be better than average.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

This year in lacrosse in the second night of districts we were down by 2 in the 4th quarter and Collin dug deep and scored 3 goals to help his team advance to states for the first time in the schools boys LAX history. Postgame, he was interviewed by a local paper and when asked about the game, he said, that he knew they had to win because he wasn’t finished playing with the seniors that he has admired so much. Collin is humble and always thinks of others 1st that is what makes us proud of him.
