My child loves baseball because it challenges him and lets him shine as a third baseman. He thrives on the fast pace, the teamwork, and the chance to make a difference in every game. His strength, energy and empathy, make him a supportive teammate and a leader on the field. Baseball brings out his best — it’s where he feels confident, connected, and truly happy.
He’s inspired by Fernando Tatís Jr.—his energy, confidence, and love for the game fuel his own dream of playing in the MLB. He watches how Tatis leads, plays hard, and bounces back from challenges. That passion motivates him to work hard and believe in himself.
One of my proudest moments was during the World Series when he got on base every time he stepped up— hit by a pitch, a walk, three singles, and a double. In such a high-pressure situation, he stayed calm, focused, and determined. Watching him perform with such confidence and heart showed me how much he’s grown—not just as an athlete, but as a strong, resilient young person.
