Receive Text UpdatesWhat he loves most about track is how it pushes him to work harder every day. The challenge of improving his personal records drives him to give his best at every practice and race. It’s not just about winning, it’s about beating his own limits and seeing how far he can go. Track teaches him discipline, resilience, and the joy of progress, and that keeps him coming back stronger each time.
Jakob Ingebrigtsen inspires him both on and off the track because he redefines what it means to be unstoppable. Jakob’s blend of fearlessness and unshakable focus shows him how to balance passion with discipline. He inspires by seeing how he chases world records with confidence and this pushes him to embrace his own journey, which is to trust the process, lean into the hard work, and believe that breakthroughs come from relentless effort, passion and heart.
Freshman year, he faced a setback in his outdoor season unrelated to track, but he didn’t let it stop him. He came back sophomore year for the indoor season stronger than ever. He ended that season by qualifying for nationals and earning silver in the para 1-mile, smashing his personal record by 23 seconds with a time of 5:10.39. That moment showed him how resilience and hard work can turn challenges into breakthroughs.
