Every waking moment is at the baseball field either by himself, with teammates, or 1:1 with his coach. Incredible natural talent!!

He feels it allows him to be part of a team experience AND he can also achieve personal goals and skills. It continuously teaches how to win gracefully and lose with dignity. He loves being on the field whenever possible working on becoming a utility player and striving to learn all aspects of the game. Baseball affords gains in personal skills and as a team. He continues to meet great friends and maintains the friendships he already had through baseball.
Mom inspires him on and off the field because she's a counselor and helps him get out of his head when frustrated. On the field, she's also a coach and helps Conner and the team build interpersonal relationships and cohesiveness. Conner's 1:1 is also inspiring because he played in the MLB, Scouted MLB, and sees Conner's drive and potential. Through his coaching technique, Conner feels empowered and confident that he can attain his baseball goals
I witnessed Conner make a game winning catch when playing 3rd base. He surprised himself that he caught the ball and the team surrounded him. Watching his face, the excitement, and the accomplishment was amazing!
