You decide who will be named Youth Athlete of the Year, featured in a 3BRAND ad in Sports Illustrated, and take home $25,000
He loves the discipline; the work he has to put in to be a top player. He also loves his teammates; they're his family. He's the first one to run down to the end zone to congratulate a teammate and the first one to lift a teammate to when they make a mistake. He loves teaching his teammates how to improve their game because he knows that makes his team better. He has a deep love for his team. He also loves chasing down a quarterback and bringing him down for the sack.
He's inspired by his coach, Jimmy. He sees how much work he puts into the team and just life in general. Coach Jimmy's work ethic is unmatched. He is retired NYPD, works for the feds, is a professor at John Jay College and is an attorney that represents players being drafted into the NFL. This is all in addition to being the President and one of the coaches of our youth football league. Connor trusts him implicitly. He was Connor's sponsor at Confirmation in May.
In the second game of the season last year, Connor hit someone so hard that he fractured his own shoulder. He said nothing and never came out of the game because he knew that his team needed him. He ran down the field holding his bum arm with his other hand, while stiff-arming opponents with his good arm. He attended 2 practices but sat out and he never missed a game. He was MVP of that team that won their division, the State of NJ and went to regionals.
