Bobby Witt, Manny Machado, and Hunter Green inspire him. He knows they each have a great natural talent but they work incredibly hard to build on their God given gifts. He sees this work ethic as something he can do too!
At the start of the 2025 Connor put a lot of work into building himself up pitching and at middle infield. A tryout was held for USA baseball and Connor was selected to then go to a regional qualifier for team USA. Making this helped him understand that hard work can lead to great opportunities. He learned a lot about himself from this experience.
