What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What my kid loves most about playing sports is the thrill of competition, the friendships built with teammates, and the feeling of pride when his hard work pays off. Whether it’s a win or a lesson, he’s always learning and having fun playing sports. Croy is a true multi-sport athlete with a passion for everything active. He plays football, basketball, soccer, and baseball—and he’s just as talented on the field as he is in the water. He can water ski, and wakesurf and pushes to be the best!

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

The person who inspires my athlete most is Coach Jason Morgan, his elementary PE teacher. He has been a constant source of encouragement and motivation for Croy. He pushes him to be a better athlete while making learning fun. In kindergarten, Coach Morgan would even step into the class once a week to do a wrestling match with Croy—just because he knew how much Croy loved it at the time. He always takes the time to show interest in what Croy is passionate about and encourages him to work hard.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

The moments that make me most proud of my athlete go far beyond his talent on the field. He’s the kind of kid every coach wants on their team—not just because he’s one of the best out there, but because of the heart he brings to the game. He’s coachable, respectful, and leads with kindness. He lifts others up, makes everyone feel like a friend, and celebrates their wins as much as his own. He pushes himself and his teammates to be their very best!
