Dacin is a competitor at heart. He loves baseball because the game allows him to compete while being surrounded by his friends and teammates. He thrives on the energy of the game, the challenge of competition, and the fun of working together toward a win. Being on the field with his team is where he feels happiest.
Jesus Christ is always Dacin’s inspiration—He gave him natural talent and guides him to be a better person and player every day. Dacin also looks up to Jose Altuve, who proves that size doesn’t matter when you play with heart, hustle, and faith.
What makes me proudest is that Dacin is a natural born leader both on and off the field. He’s always the one lifting up his teammates and classmates, encouraging others, and leading by example with heart, humility, and positivity.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
