Dakota loves being a competitive cheerleader because it allows her to travel, meet new friends who look like her, and connect with others who share her passion. She takes pride in representing her community and always comes back excited to share her experiences and adventures with her friends. Cheer has become more than a sport—it’s a family journey, with her parents owning the gym and her teammates feeling like sisters. Dakota loves using the gift God has given her to inspire others.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Dakota was inspired to cheer by watching her mother, a former collegiate cheerleader and coach, lead with passion and purpose. She admired how her mom uplifted others, mentored young athletes, and became someone people truly looked up to and depended on. Seeing that impact sparked a fire in Dakota to follow in her footsteps—not just as a cheerleader, but as a leader. She now dreams of continuing the legacy her mom began, while creating her own path in the sport she loves.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Dakota’s proudest moment was making gym history by winning The Allstar Worlds, one of the biggest end-of-season events. She worked hard, practiced endlessly, and led her teams with heart while competing on multiple teams. She set a goal, stayed committed, and gave her all—not just for herself, but for her gym. Winning a world title was more than a personal victory; it was a proud moment for her team, coaches, and cheer family.
