What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

I’ve discovered that playing sports, especially basketball and football, is among the most fulfilling parts of my life. These games challenge me both physically and mentally, but they also bring immense joy, help me forge friendships, and teach me valuable life lessons. Whether I’m on the court or the field, I feel truly alive, focused, and energized.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

When asked who inspires me the most, I always say it’s my mom. She’s not a professional athlete or coach, but she has taught me more about hard work and determination than anyone else. My mom has always believed in me, even when I doubted myself. She constantly reminds me that I need to prove what I can do. Though I may not have been the best at first, she was always there cheering me on at every practice and game. Her unwavering support gives me the confidence to keep pushing forward.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

One of my proudest moments was witnessing him bounce back from a tough loss by working even harder in practice. His resilience, determination, and love for the game during that time truly stood out. Seeing him grow into a more mature and committed athlete made me incredibly proud of the young man he’s becoming
