Join the CompetitionHe loves the culture of basketball, he had played tball, football, and soccer previously. Dane was adopted when he was a baby. He is black, but the family that adopted him was white. His adopted parents got a divorce, and his mom remarried a black man. Dane went back to meet his family (which was all black) and they were all playing basketball. He fell in love with the game that day in the driveway with a bunch of his new cousins and neighborhood kids. He lives, breaths, and eats basketball now.
Kobe Bryant. He had the mentality that was so different than other athletes. He had the work ethic and the mindset of a winner. He had high standards for what he expected from his teammates. Dane wants to have the same drive, motivation, and determination as Kobe.
I wish there was one, but there are a few. Of course a buzzer winner game when the whole team jumped on him and piled him to the floor. There are multiple times when he helps kids up, even on the other team, when his coach is yelling at him. There are times when he has been sick, or hurt, and he plays just as hard and good as when he is well. He encourages and cheers on teammates from the bench when he sits out. When he scored his high of 27points. The list goes on, I guess I am proud a lot. Lol
