Just 11 years old, he enjoys being part of a team, working hard to improve, and helping his friends grow and get better too. For David sports are not just about winning. They are about learning, supporting others and having fun together.
David is inspired by his parents both on and off the field. They show him the importance of hard work, kindness, and never giving up. They support him at every game, encourage him to do his best and remind him to always treat others with respect which are all values he carries with him in every sport he plays.
One moment that makes us especially proud is when David took extra time after a game to help out teammate who was struggling and then at the same time comforted his teammate as his teammate was upset about the outcome of the game. He showed patience, encouragement, and leadership far beyond his years. It reminded us that while all athletic skills is important, the heart he brings to the game and his teammates is what truly sets him apart.
