David just has a love for all sports, he focuses on Football, Baseball, Basketball, he also started wrestling at the age of 4. He loves the team aspect of the all the sports, he gets to be a leader to his teammates. He also practices off season as well, whether it's just a pick up game, or working out with his Personal Trainer Bobby Willis. He trains him in all around strength and agility. He always asks "when's my next work out Dad?" He also tries out & played 2 years 7V7 football at Legacy!
His Dad, he was always an athlete growing up as well, he was Player Of The Year, his Senior Football year in Jackson Mi, he has also been his coach his whole life, From coaching him in wrestling from 4 to 12 yrs old, baseball, t ball to kid pitch, until He moved schools & had 3 other amazing coaches from 9 to 12yrs. He's coached him from flag to tackle since he was 5yrs old, as QB. This is the first year he has not coached David in football as he is moving to 7th grade. He also coached Varsity!
I would say it was when his team recently won their league division in 12 u competition baseball, and he received 4 awards, 1 from his coaches and 3 from his teammates. These awards were Dedication Award from his coaching staff, because he was always ready to work, always took games and practices serious, helped motivate his team to do better than the last. From his teammates they voted him, MVP, Offensive Player Of The Year, & Leadership. His football team even got to play at the UofM Stadium!
