David loves building relationships with his teammates and coaches. He loves the game of baseball and has said before that it’s on the field he feels happiest!
On the field he is inspired by Yankee greats like Mickey Mantle and Derek Jeter. He has heard many stories of them both from his family members. He also is inspired by guys like Mookie Betts bc he knows how hard they worked to make it, being they aren’t the biggest guys on the field. Off the field David is inspired by his family! They push him to always work hard!
After David got out of the hospital he started training hard and was focused on getting back on the field. His first game back he went 3 for 3 with a triple. It wasn’t the at bats I was proud of it was the adversity he had to overcome.
