She loves being part of a team in which she can call family. The support from her coaches and her friends keep her going even through hard times. She loves the competition in meeting new people from all over. Most of all she loves her sports because she can also have fun and still compete against some of the best.
Inspiration comes from multiple family, friends, teammates, and coaches. There is not one person that stands out because they all equally inspire her to keep going. Even when her medical conditions make it hard to continue, her coaches and teammates are right there to guide her and help her get through it.
I believe I am proudest of my daughter when her body tells her she has had enough. She pushes through and continues to give 100% for her team. She never quits and fights through the pain. Her medical conditions do not define her and she is in control. I know there are many children out there that have something going on, but I know what she goes through, myself as an adult could not do what she does.
