Receive Text UpdatesDelylah has loved the water since she was a baby. She would live in the water. She enjoys competing and loves her teammate, many of whom have become close friends. She especially loves relays because she gets to compete with her teammates and work together to do their best as a team. Of course, everyone loves winning, but Delylah is never disappointed as long as she knows she has done her best. She is always excited for her teammates as well
Myself(mom), stepdad(Andy), all of her siblings and pretty much her entire family. She is also a HUGE fan of Katie Ledecky and Gretchen Walsh!!
Delylah’s 1st open water state race. She was in the 10u group as the only 8 year old and finished 8th. I was so proud and impressed at her determination and endurance to finish a race that was completely foreign to her. Her first words when she got out of the water were “I’m tired, but can I swim this again next year?”
